The deadline to submit an application is August 18th. Letters of acceptance will be sent September 1st.

NCLBDL is open to any North Carolina Principal or Assistant Principal. However, preference will be given to in service principals should a cohort reach capacity. (Each cohort can accept up to 75 principals.)

There is no preference given based on date of application. All applications submitted before the application deadline will be reviewed based on the quality of the application.

The only cost is the cost of travel to the sessions.

Session topics may vary based on the needs of the Cohort. However the program topics are generally drawn from the following topics:

  • Session 1: Understanding Digital Learning
  • Session 2: Creating a Culture for Digital Learning
  • Session 3: Shifting Teaching and Learning
  • Session 4: Supporting Teachers Through Professional Learning
  • Session 5: Implementing and Sustaining Digital Learning

Sessions include online pre-work which may include foundational research, case studies, discussions, and job-embedded work in your school, a face to face session, and on-line follow up work that is also job-embedded.
